Hi, I'm Elizabeth, I'm currently studying the Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at Charles Sturt University. I live in Wagga Wagga with my husband, two children and cat. We've lived here since 2016, after moving from Sydney, where I had lived all my life. I really enjoying being away from the busy city and living a more relaxed lifestyle. After years in office administration roles, I began teaching swimming in 2015 in an effort to combine part time work with looking after my children. This is work which I thoroughly enjoy, and it gave me the teaching bug. During the Covid-19 pandemic I began studying at University with the goal of becoming a secondary teacher. I'm a history nerd, which together with society and culture, are my key learning areas. I received a Teach Rural scholarship from NSW Department of Education, which has enabled me to study full time, and reach my goal sooner. This eportfolio is part of the requirements for my classroom technologies subject.
This is Frieda, my photogenic cat, who helps me study.
